New mobility partner: Through the 2nd Bundesliga with Deutsche Bahn

We have been promoted and have made the switch in mobility as well: Deutsche Bahn is now the official mobility partner of FC Viktoria Berlin. Already in the first half of the current 2025/26 season, Deutsche Bahn has made several away trips of our second-division team across Germany comfortable and climate-friendly.
With the promotion from the Regionalliga Nordost to the 2nd Bundesliga, the team has been traveling nationwide this season. The new competition brings away matches all over Germany – and with them more travel, longer distances, as well as significantly greater time and organizational demands. Thanks to the new partnership with Deutsche Bahn, FC Viktoria Berlin travels efficiently and is optimally prepared for every matchday.
Catharina Schimpf (Sporting Director of FC Viktoria Berlin) explains: “Deutsche Bahn saves us valuable time. Whether matches in Frankfurt, Wolfsburg, or in smaller towns near the French border – our team travels comfortably with our new partner, arrives well-rested, and can use the time gained compared to significantly longer bus journeys specifically for match preparation on site. And even after the final whistle, we get back quickly and comfortably.”
However, it’s not only the team on the pitch that benefits from the partnership. The six co-founders as well as the operational team, who regularly represent FC Viktoria Berlin on panels, at conferences, and at events on topics such as sport, leadership, or social change, will also travel at discounted rates with Deutsche Bahn in the future.
With this mobility partnership, Deutsche Bahn brings its infrastructure strength into professional football. The partnership supports a team that is not only breaking new ground athletically, but also structurally demonstrating how change in football can be actively shaped.
