FC Viktoria Berlin and VfB Stuttgart draw 2-2 (1-1), despite Viktoria having the upper hand. Two referee decisions leave questions unanswered.

Viktoria started the game cautiously, which VfB Stuttgart knew how to exploit. After just over 15 minutes, the score was already 0-1, as Nicole Billa had too much space after a solo run by her teammate Jana Beuschlein and was able to finish (16').
After that, FCV gradually gained more possession - and were rewarded for their efforts another quarter of an hour later. More precisely, Aylin Yaren rewarded herself after Laura Casanovas played a beautiful pass to captain Nina Ehegötz, who then passed to Yaren. She took a shot from the edge of the box and scored the equalizer for Viktoria, 1-1 (30')!
Questionable penalty for Stuttgart
The second half belonged to FCV. Having found their feet in the first 45 minutes, our players now took control of the game, with Stuttgart retreating. But the goals didn't come. Instead, Stuttgart's Maxi Rall fell in the penalty area in front of Michèle Tschudin - and referee Paula Mayer awarded a penalty! This was questionable, to say the least, as there was no visible contact. But the penalty was given and Stuttgart took a 2-1 lead when Billa chipped the ball into the bottom left corner (70').
A little later, referee Mayer caused another stir. This time it was a whistle that didn't come. Sarah Klotz sprinted into the Stuttgart penalty area to chase down a ball, but was brought down from behind by clear contact to her feet (77'). However, referee Mayer apparently saw it differently.
FCV equalizer in the last minute
With one of the last moves of the game, Ehegötz secured at least one point for the Sky Blues. The Stuttgart players cleared a cross poorly, Ehegötz grabbed the ball and shot from around 20 meters. It hit the underside of the crossbar and went in! And so it was 2-2 for one point, even though it should have been three.
This means Viktoria has three points from four games, putting them in tenth place in the table. Next up is a home game on September 21 against VfL Wolfsburg's second team, who are level on points. Kick-off is at 2 p.m. at the Lichterfelde Stadium. You can get tickets here - see you there!

Viktoria really showed heart after that early setback — the equalizer from Ehegötz was pure determination. It actually reminded me of playing Escape Road, where you have to keep pushing through obstacles until the very end. Both the team and the players in that game prove that persistence always pays off

I had the opportunity to interact with Ticketmaster's customer service, and my experience was quite disappointing. The response time was excessively long, leaving me frustrated as I awaited assistance. When I finally connected with a representative, their knowledge seemed limited, and I did not receive the clarity I sought regarding my ticket issue and you can also find customer service contact on how to contact ticketmaster. Overall, the lack of efficiency and support during my inquiry has left me with a negative impression of their customer service. I hope they can improve their processes to better serve their customers in the future.
What a rollercoaster of a match! Viktoria showed real fight till the very last minute—Ehegötz’s equalizer was pure determination. I was actually searching up something for a finance assignment writing service when I stumbled on this, and honestly glad I did—matches like these remind you why football is so unpredictable and exciting.
