As every season comes to an end, it also means saying goodbye.FC Viktoria Berlin will bid farewell to seven players during the final home match of the season – players who will leave the team at the end of the campaign.
We want to express our heartfelt thanks to Anouk Dekker, Julia Haake, Katja Friedl, Marta Zander Zeidam (formerly Schrey), Natalia Stulin, Nour Youssef, and Vanessa Lux.
Each and every one of them has shaped FC Viktoria Berlin, this season, and our shared success – both on and off the pitch.
Anouk Dekker joined the team ahead of the 2023/2024 season and was named team captain at the start of her second year. With decades of international experience at the highest level, she led the team through a historic season. The 2017 European Champion now ends her remarkable playing career – but will stay with FC Viktoria Berlin and take on a new role as assistant coach next season.
Julia Haake has been part of the club since 2016 and has always stood out for her reliability and team spirit. She delivered strong performances in goal whenever called upon. Off the pitch, she made a lasting impact with her outstanding dedication and will continue to support the team in her new role as team photographer.
Katja Friedl joined FC Viktoria Berlin in early 2022 and impressed with her versatility and football intelligence – whether in midfield or defence. On top of her commitment on the pitch, she brought warmth and humour to the team, enriching the group on a personal level.
Marta Zander Zeidam (formerly Schrey) became a key part of the defence right from the start of the 2024/2025 season. With her composure, vision and technical ability, she brought calm and clarity to the holding midfield role and left-back position. Off the pitch, Marta's positive presence left a lasting impression on the entire team.
Natalia Stulin added creativity and flair to our attacking play across two seasons. With great vision and a knack for scoring beautiful goals, our number 27 consistently made an impact. Her easy-going nature and team-first attitude made her a valuable member of the squad.
Nour Youssef enriched our team throughout the 2024/2025 season with her talent, creativity, and infectious smile. She brought energy and emotion to the pitch in every situation and demonstrated her potential both on the wing and as a leader of the Palestinian national team.
Vanessa Lux wore the Viktoria shirt for six years – and in that time, she was much more than a reliable defensive force. On the pitch, she impressed with her calm decision-making and consistency. Off it, she shaped the team culture with her caring nature, emotional intelligence, and strong sense of responsibility.
